Things to Do in Timnath This Fall: Restaurants & Events

Here’s a look at Timnath’s recent restaurant openings and the projects still taking shape.

Restaurant Openings

In-N-Out's Timnath location has a paper trail that goes back three years. The chain filed concept plans with the Town of Timnath in May 2023, submitted a site development plan in 2024, and bought a 1.63-acre parcel in the Ladera development at I-25 and Harmony Road. On June 25, 2026, the doors opened at 4911 Cima Vista Drive, making it Colorado's 15th location and Northern Colorado's third, following Loveland's opening in November 2023 and Longmont's in late 2025.

G-Que BBQ moved just as predictably. After roughly two years of planning and construction, the barbecue chain held its grand opening on April 23, 2026, at 4931 Cima Vista Drive, directly across from Floor & Decor. The 4,000-square-foot restaurant seats 170, runs a "Que-Thru" mobile pickup lane instead of a traditional drive-thru, and pours a full bar alongside its brisket and pulled pork.

Both restaurants sit inside the same 240-acre Ladera project.

The Timeline, Side by Side

In-N-Out and G-Que BBQ opened about two months apart this year. Ruben's Timnath offshoot remains a planned project.

Ruben's Planned Timnath Location

According to Retro 102.5, the original Ruben's Grill + Cantina opened in Loveland in the spring of 2023 off Crossroads Boulevard, named after the owner's grandfather. It built a loyal dine-in crowd quickly enough that the owners added a catering van and started planning an expansion.

The planned Timnath expansion was to be a sit-down restaurant named after the owner's grandmother. When the plan surfaced in local coverage in December 2025, the target was an opening by the end of 2026. As of September 2026, the Timnath offshoot had not announced a name, location, or construction timeline.

For fall dining plans, In-N-Out and G-Que are open, while Ruben's Timnath offshoot remains planned.

Harmony Road's Quieter Additions

Not everything new in Timnath runs through Ladera. Chelo's, a new Mexican restaurant on Harmony Road, opened this year with a full bar and a menu locals have already started recommending to each other. It's the kind of opening that doesn't get a press release or a countdown, just a sign going up and a parking lot filling in.

Back inside Ladera, Prost Brewing Co. has confirmed plans for a 10,600-square-foot beer garden and restaurant near the G-Que and Floor & Decor sites, bringing its German-style lagers and beer garden format to the corridor. No opening date has been set yet, which puts it in the same category as the Ruben's project: real, planned, and not yet something you can actually walk into.

What Actually Has a Fixed Date This Month

Restaurant opening schedules can shift as projects move through construction and permitting. Timnath's community calendar also offers dates to plan around this fall.

The Timnath Chamber's Timnath Connect Harvest Market runs at Pedro's Coffee Shop, a restored 1920s dairy barn on South Colorado Boulevard, on September 19 and again on October 17, 2026. Each date brings curated vendor booths, live music, and local food, all free to attend.

The bigger date on the calendar is the Town's Fall Festival at Timnath Community Park on Saturday, September 26, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., with live music, an artisan market, local beer, food trucks, and family activities, again raising money for the Children's Speech & Reading Center. Last year's festival is a fair preview of what that mix looks like on the ground: an artisan market with vendors like Akemi Clay, EverSoftKnits, Happy Pupperz, and Wood & Slate, food trucks including Kona Ice, Maddie's Kettle Korn, and Island Smoothie & Shaved Ice, a beer and cider garden pouring from New Belgium Brewing, Prost Brewing, Tommy Knocker Brewery, and Colorado Cider Company, and live music from Playback Denver and Tumbledown Shack.

Building Your Fall Weekend
