The 4,000-square-foot restaurant seats 170, runs a "Que-Thru" mobile pickup lane instead of a traditional drive-thru, and pours a full bar alongside its brisket and pulled pork.
Both restaurants sit inside the same 240-acre Ladera project, and both delivered on roughly the timeline their companies set for themselves years in advance.

The bigger date on the calendar is the Town's Fall Festival at Timnath Community Park on Saturday, September 26, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., with live music, an artisan market, local beer, food trucks, and family activities, again raising money for the Children's Speech & Reading Center. Last year's festival is a fair preview of what that mix looks like on the ground: an artisan market with vendors like Akemi Clay, EverSoftKnits, Happy Pupperz, and Wood & Slate, food trucks including Kona Ice, Maddie's Kettle Korn, and Island Smoothie & Shaved Ice, a beer and cider garden pouring from New Belgium Brewing, Prost Brewing, Tommy Knocker Brewery, and Colorado Cider Company, and live music from Playback Denver and Tumbledown Shack.
